Entering the Blogosphere

I never wanted to blog about day to day rubbish, but I'd been thinking for a while that it'd be nice to have somewhere to post the bits and pieces of arty stuff I'm working on. My website and my dA page are mostly reserved for finished pieces (aside from the scraps page), so I've set up a design journal for works in progress.. it's just an online scrap book really, with a bit of commentary.

It's more for myself than for anyone else, but hopefully fellow C4Ders or BSG fans (since I'll be posting tons of BSG stuff now the series is back - yay!) will find the odd thing of interest. :p

Hai! Thank you for the comment. My model looks horrible against yours, but I will just throw an excuse out there, that it's my first attempt with max+zbrush character modelling.

I noticed several renders in your gallery that I have seen before but can't quite remember when. Have we talked on one of the chat channels before?

I've been wanting to make my own pilot or deckhand model for a while now, but I'm sure it'll turn out a total mess. Yours looks pretty good for a first attempt and a work in progress.

I've faved a couple of your renders (the CIC ones) and added you to my watchlist as well, so you probably saw my work then. It's great to see others making models of the BSG interiors. :)

Whoever said nature's female? It looks to me like we are living on a ball, surrounded many more balls. Hmmm... tons of giant BALLS floating around with no particular thought towards organization or cleanliness? Sounds pretty masculine to me.
